Labor Day in Charleston turned into a pop-punk time machine when Blink-182 brought their high-energy Missionary Impossible tour to Credit One Stadium on 9/1.
The night kicked off with Beauty School Dropout, who set the tone with a blast of raw energy. Their set was a perfect balance of fan favorites like “We Made Plans & God Laughed”—a personal highlight— and teasers from their upcoming record, including “Two of Us” from Where Did All the Butterflies Go. They had the crowd hooked from the start.

Next up, Alkaline Trio took the stage, bringing their darker edge into the mix. They delivered a powerful set that featured their latest single “Oblivion” and wrapped with the anthem “Radio”—a song that still hits just as hard live as it did when it first came out.

Then came the main event: Blink-182. From the moment they stepped on stage, the whole thing felt like being dropped into your buddy’s garage circa 1999—except this garage came with pyro, semen-shower confetti cannons, and a giant flaming middle finger lighting up the finale. The banter between Mark, Tom, and Travis was as unfiltered as ever: equal parts innuendo, roast session, and “I can’t believe they just said that” one-liners.
The nostalgia was palpable, but it wasn’t just about reliving the past—it was about that rare alchemy Blink has where chaos meets catharsis. One minute you’re laughing at a joke about bodily fluids, the next you’re screaming along to “Stay Together for the Kids” with tears in your eyes.
The crowd was multigenerational—teenagers moshing next to parents who grew up blasting Enema of the State—and you could feel a shared sense of bliss radiating across the venue. For a few hours, we all got to forget about the weight of the world and just be kids again. The setlist blended the classics with deeper cuts they haven’t dusted off in years, making longtime fans feel seen while still delivering the big sing-along hits everyone came for.
By the end of the night, Charleston was sweaty, smiling, a little sticky (thanks, confetti), and completely alive in the way only a Blink-182 show can make you feel.
