As I approached Chastain Park’s Synovus Amphitheater, I understood why it was suggested to arrive 90 minutes before the start of the concert. Fans were lined up and the lines were just as long trying to get parking in one of the parking lots.
After you make your way through security, Georgia’s humidity helps push you to find your seat quickly before the show begins. Of course, you must make way to get a drink or two that is themed for the concert along with some merchandise! The kind ushers will help you make your way back to your seat before main act comes on the stage.

After the opening act, the skies began to sprinkle down a little rain like Georgia was tearing up and welcoming home Teddy Swims. The singer and songwriter from Conyers, Georgia performed two nights this week.
Unfamiliar with Teddy Swims’ music except for the TikTok popular song “Lose Control,” I came into this concert to really understand the music and the artist on this night. The audience was geared up with their rain gear and their excitement allowed me to become enthusiastic about covering this concert.
When the lights graced the stage and the band appeared, the audience drew their attention to prepare for a feast for their ears. When Teddy Swims started his first song, the crowd erupted in stadium-shaking cheer. Teddy Swims’ music is a perfect blend of Pop, R&B, Soul, and Rock that the audience got to sing, cheer, and sing along with.

The audience got to enjoy songs like “She Loves the Rain, “Lose Control,” “Not Your Man,” and much more. As the night progressed, you could hear the crowd singing along while becoming engrossed in the music and lyrics. After the roaring applause and chanting at the end of the set, Teddy Swims continued to sing three more songs as part of an encore performance.
As Teddy Swims has stated previously, “Music is the greatest communicator.”
If you haven’t listen to Teddy Swims’ music, you can find him on music platforms (Spotify and Apple Music) along with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and Snapchat).
Special thanks to the staff at Live Nation and Warner Records for having me cover Teddy Swims’ concert in Atlanta, Georgia.
