The Age of Entitlement Tour brought GWAR to The Senate in Columbia, SC, and it was an absolute spectacle from start to finish. The night kicked off with a high-energy performance by SQUID PISSER, whose raw and gritty sound got the crowd pumped up. Next up was X COPS, who kept the momentum going with their unique blend of punk and metal.
WEEDEATER took the stage next, delivering a heavy and intense set that had the crowd headbanging along. Their powerful riffs and intense energy set the stage for the main event: GWAR. As a long-time fan who first encountered GWAR through the movie Empire Records, it was a surreal experience to finally witness their legendary live show in person. The performance was everything I had hoped for and more, with jaw-dropping costumes, over-the-top theatrics, and gallons of fake blood. It was a gory and immersive experience that lived up to all the hype. GWAR definitely knows how to put on a show that leaves a lasting impression.
