Last night was an absolute dream come true for all of us who grew up listening to Armor For Sleep, The Spill Canvas, and The Early November. The Music Farm in Charleston was packed to the brim with fans who were there to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Armor For Sleep’s debut album Dream to Make Believe.
The Spill Canvas kicked off the night with an incredible set that got everyone moving and singing along. Their energy was contagious, and you could tell that they were just as excited to be there as we were.
Next up was The Early November, who kept the momentum going with their catchy hooks and heartfelt lyrics. They played their album The Rooms Too Cold back to front and the crowd was eating it up.
And finally, it was time for Armor For Sleep to take the stage. From the moment they walked out, it was clear that they were ready to give us a night we would never forget. Their performance was flawless, and they played all of our favorites from Dream to Make Believe and beyond.
As someone who has been a part of the emo scene for the last 20 years, seeing these bands play together again was a truly nostalgic experience. It was a reminder of why we fell in love with this music in the first place, and why we continue to come back to it year after year.
Overall, it was an unforgettable night filled with amazing music and even better memories. I can’t wait to see what these bands have in store for us next.
