I had the opportunity to attend We Came As Romans’Darkbloom II Tour stop at the Senate in Columbia, SC, and it was an incredible night of music. The opening acts, Archetypes Collide, Bodysnatcher, and Emmure, all brought their A-game and got the crowd hyped up for the headliner.
Archetypes Collide had an electrifying energy on stage, with their heavy riffs and intense vocals. Bodysnatcher’s hardcore sound was a perfect fit for the mosh pit that erupted during their set. And Emmure’s aggressive, in-your-face performance had the entire venue bouncing.
But the highlight of the night was undoubtedly We Came As Roman’s set. Their stage presence was unmatched, and their musicianship was on full display. They seamlessly blended their older hits with their newer material from the Darkbloom Album, and the crowd sang along to every word.
Overall, it was an unforgettable concert experience that showcased the talents of some of the best bands in the heavy music scene.
Meet our live music photographer and reporter, Stephanie Wells, from The Holy City of Charleston, SC. Her infectious energy and passion for her craft are evident in every photo she takes and every story she tells. Stephanie’s always on the lookout for the next great live music event, as there's nothing quite like the pure adrenaline rush of capturing a moment in time. Her favorite place to be when she’s not in the photo pit is on the other side of the barricade in the front row singing her heart out or in the mosh pit. “There’s truly no greater catharsis than the electricity in a crowd at a show, living that shared experience,” says Stephanie..
