Black Veil Brides Lead Trinity of Terror Tour in Atlanta

Friday, November 25th the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, GA was swarming with fans who wrapped around the venue for blocks, a line fitting for the Blackest of Fridays. The highly anticipated Part III of the Trinity of Terror Tour invaded with Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, and Atreyu taking Atlanta by storm.

Atreyu

The energy was electric as Atreyu opened the night with “Baptize“, the title track from their 2021 album. This was my first time seeing Atreyu with Brandon Sellers leaving the drum kit and taking center stage as their front man, after the departure of Alex Varkatzas in 2020. Brandon commanded the crowd, even heading into the pit during “The Time is Now” from 2018 album In Our Wake to sing with fans.

Black Veil Brides

The crowd erupted into an absolute frenzy when Black Veil Brides took the stage opening their set with “Crimson Skies” off their 2021 album The Phantom Tomorrow. After noticing a fan in distress Andy Black stopped the set during “Knives and Pens” to direct the crowd to clear and calling for EMTs to attend to the fan. The set continued and unfortunately had to be stopped during their final song “In The End” for yet another medical emergency in the crowd.

Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills transformed The Roxy into Horrorwood (taken from the latest album Welcome to Horrorwood: The Silver Scream 2) with a high energy stage show complete with a campy axe murder that recreated the kill from American Psycho. The show opened with the band members masked and dressed in tuxedos. Classic Hollywood meets horror!

Temperature and ventilation concerns inside the venue. BVB and MIW sets stopped several times due to medical concerns. Other than that, it was a phenomenal show!
