Metal shredder Xander Demos (James Rivera, Sabbath Judas Sabbath) and Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot) were among the judges of the QR13 Battle of the Bands on Saturday, July 7, 2013 at Wells-Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa. The event was put together by Brian “The Fish Man” Fish of the Heavy Metal Happy Hour. The battle took place before the Philadelphia Soul arena football game, with the winner being Ghost Of War. After the game, Xander performed a solo set, before a headlining performance from Quiet Riot.
