Paris Luna records Brasstown Ball at historic Southern Tracks

Recorded during a birthday celebration, Paris Luna’s upcoming album combines the idea of having a ball with the name of Georgia’s highest point, Brasstown Bald. Once released, Brasstown Ball is sure to be a smash.
In case you didn’t know, Southern Tracks has almost as much history as the region in which it is located. The original studio, a converted schoolhouse, was founded by legendary music publisher Bill Lowery in the mid-1950′s. Lowery discovered such classic songs as “Be Bop A Lula,” “I Never Promised You A Rose Garden,” and Joe South’s “Games People Play.”
Many classic recordings have been made at the current Southern Tracks facility over the past 30 years. This studio was home to legendary producer Brendan O’Brien for nearly 20 years. Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Train, and the Black Crowes have all recorded classic records here.
